A§E Hardware Setup
You can use the A§E software with your existing audio hardware. If you have an audiometer,
you can connect A§E to it and A§E will make use of the fact that your audiometer
has a calibrated auxiliary input for free field testing. If you do not have an audiometer,
A§E will connect directly to your amplifier and loudspeakers. In this case you have
to calibrate this setup. This is a quick and straightforward procedure that you
can do yourself if you have an SPL meter.
If you do not have an existing audio setup, or you would like to use A§E in another
room than where your current audio setup is installed, like your audio booth for
example, Otoconsult has carefully selected an optimal hardware combination for use
with the A§E software. So if you are looking for a solution to equip a new test
