Audiqueen
Speech Audiometry
The same functionality exists for speech audiometry. Audiqueen can handle all kinds
of speech test with phoneme score or word score, with or without confidence intervals.
It uses the same symbol set as in audiometry with separate symbols for left/right,
for different conduction types, etc.
All graphs can be printed to MS Word, copied to the clipboard and exported to *.auq
files. Different speech audiograms can be selected to be shown together on the same
audiometric chart. It is possible to have 2 horizontal axes and their values can
be defined freely. If normative data for a given speech test are available, Audiqueen
calculates the SRT 50 in function of the normal curve.
Audiqueen automatically calculates an index which can be defined in the settings.
The featured index is the EaSI (stands for "eargroup speech index", the average
phoneme score at 40, 55, 70, 70 and 85 dBSPL), but many different indices can be
created.
Data are either entered manually or through a direct connection with your audiometer
(click here for a list of supported audiometers).
When connected to the Speech Audiometry module
of A§E, speech lists from your audio CD or from *.wav files can be read
and stored on your computer’s hard drive or in a shared folder in your network.
These tests then become available for use in Audiqueen throughout your local network. A typical Audiqueen configuration
contains several speech tests.
